Chancenkarte, EU Blue Card, or a direct offer
The Chancenkarte (2024) is a points-based job-seeker visa: no job offer required, valid for 12 months (renewable), with the right to work up to 20 hours a week while you search. The EU Blue Card targets graduates with a well-paid job offer already in hand. The classic job-seeker visa (§20) still exists but has largely been replaced by the more flexible Chancenkarte.

EU Blue Card: a reduced salary threshold for shortage occupations (IT, engineering, healthcare, construction) and for recent graduates.

Unlike Ausbildung, the Fachkraft path requires formal recognition of your diploma through anabin or a Zeugnisbewertung ZAB (≈ €208). It's often the longest step in the process. We start it with you as early as possible.
